How to use the compliance tracker

  1. Set up the organisation. Add the organisation, site, sector, jurisdiction and the person responsible.
  2. Build the obligations register. Record each legal or operational requirement with an owner, due date, status, likelihood and severity, so the tool can rank risk.
  3. Track permits. Add permit numbers, issuing authorities, expiry dates and conditions so renewals are never missed.
  4. Log inspections and incidents. Record audits, monitoring visits, findings, incidents and the corrective actions that follow.
  5. Keep training and documents current. Note who needs which training and when it is due, and list the documents that prove compliance.
  6. Review and report. The dashboard shows open obligations, high risks, overdue items and open actions. Generate the report or download all data as CSV.

Frequently asked questions

Who is this environmental compliance software for?

Environmental consultants, ecologists, sustainability teams, industrial sites, farms, hotels and project developers who need a simple register without paying for enterprise software.

Does it tell me which laws apply to my site?

No. It organises the obligations you identify. Check the legislation, permits and consents that apply in your jurisdiction with the relevant regulator.

How is risk ranked?

Each obligation gets a likelihood and a severity score. Items with high combined scores, and items that are overdue, rise to the top of the priority view.

Can several people use it?

Data is stored in one browser. To share it, download the CSV or the report and send it to your team.
